What is roleplaying? Roleplaying is the act of impersonating a character created (Or pre-created) and get yourself in particular situations reacting how your character would react.
What is meta-gaming? Metagaming is using out of character knowledge in character. You know things your character does not.
What is power-gaming / god-modding? Power gaming is roleplaying without giving others the chance to answer back. Is basically doing whatever you want without expecting a reaction.
What is retroactive continuity? (retcon): When you roleplay or say, or act as something that contradicts events that already happened.
What is the difference between in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC)? In character is when you are acting as the character you are roleplaying as. Out of character is when you are speaking as the irl person you are.
Do you have previous experience playing on a RP server? I do!

When he was the age of 17 Ace Shadowstorm challenged and defeated the Kanto League, he is now 18 and wishes to take on the gym challenge and defeat the champion, Training and Battling with his pokemon isnt his only past time however, when he isnt busy training and battling with his pokemon he often takes walks with his pokemon, reads with his pokemon, and plays with them, Ace knows how to look after not only his pokemon but also others as he used to help out in the pokemon daycare at route 5 just under cerulian city.

Suddenly, a small girl runs up to you, her eyes seeming to glisten with fresh tears as her bottom lip quivers. “Please!” She cries out to you, “You must help me! My poor Meowth is stuck in a tree!” She points to a nearby tree as more tears spill out of her eyes and down her cheeks. How does your character respond?
"Hey there, don't worry. I'll do my best to help. Lead the way, and let's go see if we can get your Meowth down safely."
Ace follows the girl to the tree, assessing the situation and figuring out the best course of action. They might check the height of the tree, evaluate the position of the Meowth, and consider whether any Pokémon in their team can assist. With a sense of determination, Ace calmly begins to plan a strategy to rescue the stranded Meowth.

You are walking along the road when your eyes lock onto a trainer's in the distance. At that moment, you both freeze in place. You see a glimmer in the trainer's eyes as he reaches for his Pokeball. "Go, Rattata! Show this chump what we've been training for!" the trainer shouts as he swiftly releases his chosen partner in the vacant space that separates the two of you. How does your character respond?
Ace Stormshadow, always ready for a challenge, doesn't hesitate as the opposing trainer releases their Rattata. A confident grin spreads across Ace's face as they reach for their own Poké Balls.
"Alright, let's make this an interesting battle," Ace says, their voice steady and determined. They choose a Poké Ball and release their Pokémon with a flourish.
"Go, Sneasel!"
Sneasel emerges, agile and ready for battle, casting an icy gaze toward the opponent's Rattata. Ace's focus sharpens as they assess the situation, considering their strategy based on their knowledge of Sneasel's moves and strengths.
"Looks like we've got ourselves a battle. Sneasel, let's start with an Ice Shard! Show them our training pays off!"
Ace's command is clear and concise, signaling the beginning of the Pokémon battle.
