RP Name: Aeiden James Bishop/Derek Ashton
MC Username: Thovian/SyntheticEmotion
Age: I am 19, about to turn 20
Time Zone: UTC-05:00
Number of hours available: That really depends on my work schedule, and that is somewhat erratic, but
I've been able to get at least 4-5 hours a day on since I joined last august.
Are you in any leadership positions in-game?
I am, I am in multiple positions. Aeiden Bishop is the
Premier for Toro, handling player requests and answering questions, dealing with Aurelian and Cobalt real estate, and he is also the CEO of pixco, who provides Toro with the trainer items necessary for everyone to train. PixCo is also the leading entity in supplying jobs for the playerbase.

Well interestingly enough I've actually been doing all the things GMs do. About a month and a half ago, maybe longer, I discussed the idea of rebooting something called the Player Relations rank. This rank would performing tasks that could benefit Toro in a lot of ways. For one, it would contain most of the regular GMs, give them structure, allowing them to get clear orders from the higherups. PR would also work in collecting information from individuals and the mass of players about what events and implementations they would want to see, then pass that information to the ET-Cs. PR would also have a small team dedicated to advertising and simple player help. It would essentially be the handy man going around and fixing the relation and standard issues of the players.
After bringing this up with both of the Admins, it was decided that I should have the GM permissions, but wouldn't openly be labeled a GM. These permissions would help aid me in the process of handling the PixCo jobs, the economy, dealing with HBC land processing, helping out every player who needed help, and maintaining PR. So for the last few months I've been doing just that, and it has been going smoothly. Well as of recently we got a new wonderful RP GM (Shoutout to kittys ). This interacted and overlapped with PR's definition to be an actual rank, simply because the PR was designed to handle the work that the RP GM rank does. Given that, PR simply doesn't need to run under the pretense of it being an actual rank, it could cause confusion, red tape, ect.
So what I would like to do is discard the PR tag and the permissions tied to it, and turn PR into more of a group of players. The PR would function exactly the same, except now I'm applying for regular GM so that I run through the same channels as everyone else. So back to the question... What can I bring to the GM team? Well, exactly what I have been bringing. Hard work, loyalty, determination and an understanding of how Toro's systems work. There won't be any awkward newbie transitioning errors simply because I've been working this same job for months. I can bring an objective perspective to all issues that may pop up, and solve them without bias or complaint. I'd like to think I am mature, though I do have a bit of an odd humor. I tend to think things out and apply logic to issues and occasionally ask for a consult before solving an issue.

What is one weakness in yourself that might hinder your ability to moderate?
As stated previously, I like to think things out with logic. Which that makes me very critical, which then again isn't necessarily a bad thing. But it can occasionally make me come off as rude or insensitive, which I assure you is not the case. Another issue, ironically, may be my humor. I tend to use a lot of gentle sarcasm and satire, which in the past has caused some irritation to people who didn't understand sarcasm VIA text in the form of jokes. So that would be something I would need to cut down on.
Change? I wouldn't change a thing. Toro is stable as is, and I wouldn't want to poke around in it's innards for fear of destabilizing something. Also because I have no right, in regards to the fact that it isn't my server. Though I can present a logical, kind, and efficient system to handling player requests/tickets/complaints. I will be able to still operate the PR department and continue to bring large amounts of dedication and progress to Toro.
I have been a GM and Admin on three other servers, each for long periods of time. The first one was a creative/raiding/games server called Hellcraft. After working hard and advertising my butt off I eventually was promoted to Mod, and HC ran rather smoothly until it's owner had to shut it down in regards to financial issues. The second one was my own server, TimeCraft, which I ran for a while. I was able to keep everything completely stable and had a large playerbase until I too ran into financial issues and had to shut it down. After that I went to a server called NefasCraft, where I met Raepriest, Sonicsora223, Halo, and Devin. I started off as Trial Mod, then to Nefas's very first Moderator. Things went smoothly until we had to reset the map, in which case I was promoted to Admin and set in charge of website management.
Nothing too much to put here . Just that I hope this clears things up and will hopefully prevent any issues from forming.
