History: (150 word minimum) Born in Hoenn, Westor Banks grew up with two parents: the father, Joseph Banks, and the mother, Maria Banks. Joseph Banks is a hard-working individual, taking it upon many of his hours to work for his family. In contrast to that, Maria Banks was a Pokemon Coordinator who managed to gain a following through her sponsorships, but rarely had time to spend time with Westor. During Westor's childhood, he didn't have both parents around him most of the time due to their busy nature. This made Westor feel lonely as a boy and in his later years. However, he tried to justify that his parents were doing it for him. Westor learned to be independent through this by trying to make the best of his situation and learning skills to help himself. They were also giving him an education and love after all. However, a part of Westor disliked that he would never get close to his parents in the way he was close to his Pokemon. He watched his mother's competitions against her opponents, feeling pride he was born to such a hard-working woman but never got to spend time with her. He still shared good moments with his father when Joseph did have time for him, even learning to cook a meal for him when he came home from work. Maria on the other hand never had the time for Westor but tried to make a positive impact on him, and taught him a skill to remember her by via tailor skills. When she had time for him, they frequently went to the arcade to spend time. During one time at the arcade, Westor managed to get himself a black and yellow beanie as a prize with his arcade points. Maria even gave Westor a Pokemon she adopted as an egg at a Daycare. But one day, when Westor watched that one of Maria's contest matches was over, the television had a huge commercial break much to his surprise. It was revealed to Westor's horror that his mother had suffered a heart attack and died backstage due to overworking herself. This broke Westor and Joseph's hearts and both of them grieved the loss of part of their family. Joseph decided to be there for his son now, but Westor greatly felt the stress and anxiety of losing a loved one. He even quit his college academics and decided to perfect his old cooking skills by working in a chef program to have it so he could remember his mother when she was alive. However, his dad noticed this and decided to talk with his son. Joseph decided he would grieve alone due to not wanting to project on his son his pain. With the money from Maria's sponsorships, Westor would be sent to the Toro Region to try and find the purpose his mother wanted him to instead of wasting his life away. Reluctantly but knowing the risk to his health of staying in a place that no longer felt like h, Westor agreed to take a vacation off to Toro.

Personality: (150 word minimum) Westor is a very headstrong individual. When a problem comes in the way of himself and others, he volunteers to take it on. He takes these challenges on not only for other people but for his late mother. Westor always tries to help a person no matter the cost despite the risk to himself. Even if it is too risky, he would gladly help out a person to make sure they wouldn't suffer a bad day like how he had lost his mother. Westor is very supportive of others and deeply trusts in them. He wants to show his passion for cooking to others to make sure it’s ok to follow your dreams. He uses people as his strength to keep moving forward. He tries to be positive and always reminds people of the bright side of life. However, Westor is also overbearing. He doesn't get social cues all that well due to not being that outgoing. He also is very naive, trusting in people despite the detriment they show to others and the world around them. The death of his mother still causes him great sorrow when he thinks or is reminded of it. He constantly thinks of what she would do if she were in his position.

History: Sawk was an egg in a breeding center when Maria was journeying through her competitions and sponsorships in Unova. Maria knew how lonely Westor was and wanted to keep him company with a friend instead of skills. Luckily, the breeding center people in Kanto were fans of her work, so they allowed her to pick one egg of her choosing. She chose the Sawk egg and gave it to Westor. Westor took great care of the egg and treated Sawk like a family member. When Sawk was hatched, Westor saw it was taking time to adjust to his lifestyle due to not being able to train at all in his presence. Westor set aside time for his hobbies and sometimes his education to train with Sawk by roughhousing with it. This made Sawk very happy as it had a slight sparring partner for a person whom he'd dwarf in size. When Westor heard about the death of his mother, Sawk comforted his trainer and continued to do so. Sawk comes now to help Westor in Toro in whatever means it seeks fit.
