Halloween 2020 - The Spaces Between

Forty-five years ago, on its way from Sinnoh to Kanto, the Princess of Aloha sank in a tragic collision with an injured and thrashing Wailord. On the ship were several rare and precious artifacts, thought lost to the depths along with the crew. But just last year, exciting news came - some of the artifacts had been recovered! Scuba-divers found pieces of the ship carried by the ocean-floor currents closer than expected to the shore of Sinnoh, and carried the crates up. In addition to precious pre-settlement artifacts, they also recovered an ancient item featured in important Sinnohan myths - the Griseous Orb of the legendary Giratina. Brought home to the Eterna Historic Museum, the curator decided to celebrate - and so sent it on tour to the other regions!
With things finally calming down in the region, it’s Toro’s turn to host the exhibit. Open to the public, an expert in the field of Sinnohan mythology and archeology will be hosting not only viewings of the orbs, but also give a free lecture to guests on the mythology of the Creation Trio and the known history of the artifacts. There will be a buffet afterwards, and all are welcome to attend.

((Hello, everybody! It’s October, and that means it's time for some proper scares! This will be Saturday, October 17th at 7pm EST, located at the Galena Museum. I hope to see you all there… this isn’t an event you’d want to skip!))

Over eighty years ago, a secretive cult received what they thought was the command of their master - the words of Giratina, Grand Watcher and Sovereign of the Lost. The command ordered them to wreak vengeance upon the region of Toro for their actions, for their deeds, and for their disdain. While the people of Toro managed to stop them, they did succeed in cracking the Gate of Giratina, an ancient artifact that sealed one of the few physical connections between the world of the living and the Distortion Realm. The crack was not enough to destroy the region, not enough to even keep the Gate permanently open. But like a cracked pipe, the pressure would build over time until it found release. And every thirteen years (give or take a few seasons depending on the amount of deaths in that cycle), the Gate would briefly crack open just enough for the dead to escape to the world of the living!

Clears throat. Anyways, enough about ancient history. Much like previous years, we'll be allowing players to play as ghosts! You (or a friend / ET) can play deceased beings returned to the land of the living to interact with those they left behind. The rules are the same as last year, found here:
