For the most part, Aeiden, while being the Premier, is fully aware of the broken law systems of each nation, and really has no inclination to fix them, but is rather content on leaving them be. He believes that his guidance should be of his own intellect, based on his conception of efficiency and the freedom of morality. If he sees someone being oppressed by someone else, whether it be because of the oppressors morality or just their Evil, he will fight it. He values the freedom and safety of his people more than anything else, and will stop at nothing to protect those concepts, even if the oppressors are his friends and family.
Character Race: Businessian
Have you read and are familiar with all server rules and villain rules? I have taken the last few months to fully acquaint myself with the concepts, limitations and guidelines of the VA rules.
What specific evils does your character plan on committing? List the number of each Evil you would like to be considered for, and specifically when/why you need them:
1. Lock-picking & Breaking & Entering (doors and hatches)
Aeiden, if he finds out someone is hiding something that may end up becoming damaging to society or to someone's safety, he will without question do his research. He may go in to look around, or to read or plant some files (He loves files), or just to unnerve someone by showing them that they aren't as protected as they once thought.
2. Arson/Destruction of Property
Aeiden has no qualms getting rid of any structures which may be housing dangerous operations. He wouldn't mind tearing down a few walls or trashing the place in order to find what he needs or get his point across. Though he will almost always send them a check for the replacement costs. Because he is a good person.
4. Corruption & Bribing
In regards to corruption, Aeiden would tiptoe /very/ lightly near these boundaries. He believes that the government should have as little involvement in the citizen's lives as possible. He /HATES/ power and he /HATES/ anyone who displays it. Because of this, Aeiden has racked up quite a bit of it, and while he would never actively oppress anyone, he would gladly exercise all of it on someone who does. Whether that be passing a law or two, or using his assets to expose and destroy an adversary, or ordering the RTMP to intercept and jail an individual on suspicions of terrorism. He doesn't like power, but if showing his true menace would get rid of an oppressor, he'd do it in a second. Even if that means using his money.
What sort of Villain are you looking to be?:
I don't want to say he’s a vigilante character, because Aeiden isn't a vigilante. He isn't going to don a cape and spandex and grab a large hammer and start swinging away at petty pickpockets, he's just simply going to to take care of the issue. He has no need to follow laws or regulations to the dot, or even intimidate, since he hates that as well. He knows exactly how to deal with large issues, and only wishes to keep the safety and freedom of his people a sacred and intact concept. So while he is technically a villain, he is a kind soul and only wants to help, but will stop at /NOTHING/ to make sure whatever happens to be a threat to him and his people at the time is no longer a threat.
Why do you as a player wish to play a villain?
I've had Aeiden for nearly 11 months now, he's been continually developing on a good moral track. But as things happen to him, horrible, horrible things, he has become a better person, but also a bit detached. Now all he wants is for everyone to be safe, free, and without fear of something or someone looming over their heads.
Biography:
All of this really started when he found out that his love, Carol, had been helping the terrorist and monster Xander Blaze. He listened as she told him about how she hurt people in ways she never wanted to, but then broke as she told him that she would do it all again. He went out and began plotting, setting up systems, failsafes, ways to combat this threat should it ever return. This is when he realized that his work as a businessman had all but ended, and his calling as a Guardian had just begun.
Over the next few years, it was a fairly peaceful time, with he and Carol deciding to wipe their memories of all the bad things she had done, they lived peacefully. But things changed, their miracle child, Skylar, was stillborn. This forced them to separate for years, and Aeiden went on his way as Premier, guiding Toro, but never forgetting what a cruel world this is. But the thing that still tags along with him the most, is when Carol returned and his memory was restored. He became aware of /everything/ that had happened, and remembered a little girl, Lavan Coronatail, that he had performed CPR on for half an hour trying to revive her. Carol had helped Xander prepare for the attack and kidnapping of Premier Genevieve Beaulieu, and that, to this day, still eats at Aeiden. Nothing in this world angers him more than someone displaying their power on someone else, nevermind physically hurting them and raping them, like Xander did to Genevieve.
His mind began to wander, his old hatred returning. He vowed that If the old enemy ever returned he would rip out it's heart and toss it at the feet of the people, so as to provide an example of what happens when you become a monster. But he slowly began to realize that his hate made /him/ a monster, and instead of being appalled, he grinned to himself. He spent days fantasizing about the destruction of the evils of Toro, in the most violent ways possible to satisfy this blood lust he has with ripping someone so evil apart with his bare hands and throwing what's left to the dirt. It was an attraction which made him concerned, but also feel empowered against the powers of human rationalized morality and evil.
As the years still wore on, he watched horrific things happen to himself and other, the same things that he imagined Genevieve experienced, which only furthers his blood lust. Aeiden knows he isn't an evil man, but he also knows that if being evil is the only way to fight evil, he will become the most horrific thing the world has ever seen, and he would love every second of it.
What has really driven him over the edge, was a combination of watching his friend change the world based on what he at the time thought was right, Aeiden's experience in the labs with the cannibals, Carol leaving him and watching him writhe in emotional agony after putting him through so much, and now a vow that he had broken. A while back he had accidentally hurt someone he loved with his left hand, and he vowed he would never hurt anyone else again with that hand. The other day, he slapped Donna, breaking that vow. It took him a while to realize it, but he knew that he would have to keep his promise, so he cut off his hand and threw it to the dirt, just as he would his enemy. He sent out his Zoroark and ordered it to claw him a bit, so as to give false pretenses, and then went to Adamas, where Doctor Mielke and Davi took care of the wound for him. Davi identified the accident as Aeiden was attacked by a Charizard, where he lost his hand. But Aeiden, now asleep and healing, will soon wake up to the fact that even the people who claim to be good, aren't good at all. He will wake up changed, with the set of values he has longed to employ for so long. He will wake up a new man.
What moral boundaries does your character have, if any?
Aeiden has always abhorred violent behavior, especially murder, so if it comes down to it, he will search for an alternative. But if not, then he will only use extreme violence if his analysis of the situation warrants it.
What are some notable strengths of your character?
The most notable strength of Aeiden would have to be his intellect. He is capable of tactically analyzing things on an advanced level, planning ahead in most every regard while thinking quickly on his feet. His experience with Viridis, Team Noir, personal enemies and being the Premier has allowed him to train in this regard.
What are some notable weaknesses of your character?
Aeiden has a /ton/ of weaknesses, mainly his dependency on mechanics. His body is frail and broken from the years of fighting and getting injured, so physically he isn't in the best shape. He also gets enraged, so while he is in a rage induced state of mind, he isn't easily dissuaded, so that can be used to an advantage.
Is your character loyal or does he turn around and back stab people? To what extent?
Aeiden is extremely loyal in every regard. He will protect his friends and family with a fierce demeanor... until they put Toro at risk. If that should happen, such as when Donna hid Theo when Aeiden believed that Theo was the key to the anti-virus, he was ready to destroy the house in order to flush Theo out of hiding, even with Donna within after she refused to leave. He will do /anything/ to maintain safety and freedom within Toro.

Answer these five questions IC as if you were accepted for the evils you applied for. We will be watching for power-gaming, meta-gaming or anything unrealistic.
You hear the doorbell ring outside your door and head to open it. An angry looking woman with a large machoke you can only assume to be a bodyguard, stands at the door way. She begins jabbing a finger at your chest and threatening you to pay your rent. What do you do next?
Aeiden instantly dislikes this woman. He'd narrow his eyes at her, but open the door fully and offer them a drink or place to sit while he goes to get the money. As he limps back, he'd go over what he saw to try to figure out who she worked for. He would watch with guarded eyes as she counts through the money with open suspicion, then as she walks out the door with her 'bodyguard', slamming it behind her. Aeiden would lean against the wall, his arms crossed as he begins planning how to humble the woman, maybe by filing a suit against her, or by analyzing her business structure to find any mediums he could use to either destroy it, take it over, or tax it more. You know, to just squeeze her a bit and remind her there are bigger sharks in the water.
While staying at a nearby inn, you happen to overhear two men talking about a heist. You can't make out too many details but they seem to be struggling to find another member to help. What do you do next?
Aeiden would continue sipping on his drink and casually turn around, letting Arowen record the two men's faces onto the contact lens that Theo gave him. He'd turn around again and continue drinking, gazing blankly at the hard wood wall in front of him. He'd later show the faces to Jay and inform him of what he heard. The RTMP can take care of that.
An old woman has fallen down on the route. She calls for you to help her. You noticed she has nothing but a purse on her but littered around her feet are fainted Pixelmon. What do you do next?
Aeiden would rush up, concerned about the woman's health. He would inquire about her health first, then about her pixelmon, then help her to her feet. He'd offer her a ride to the hospital and the pixelcenter on Arowen, to which he would insist. If he found out about how this happened, and if it seemed to be a mugging, he would direct her to the RTMP to report the crime.
Team Noir strikes again! You were walking along the route when up ahead you notice a pit hole trap where voices are screaming for help. Two people dressed in black and red stand over the hole and laugh maniacally. What do you do next?
Aeiden would simply just grin, as this was the exact kind of thing he was hoping he'd find today. Aeiden /HATES/ team noir, as they have plagued Toro for far too long. He would send out his Zoroark and instruct it to copy the form of one of the Team Noir grunts. The ZoroGrunt would walk over to the other two, and stand to the side of the grunt he was copying, then begin laughing exactly like the other one he wasn't copying. This would cause some confusion, since grunts are idiots, where they'd look around for a few seconds and in between themselves. This would give Arowen enough time to float near them. The ZoroGrunt would stop laughing then look at the one it was copying then look dead serious and say, “Boo.” The Zoroark would launch a dark pulse at the man's chest, sending him flying, while Arowen would bullet punch the other into the hole.
In the meantime, Aeiden would just be standing there, grinning like an idiot, watching his team go to work. Back over at the hole, Arowen would have replaced the victims within the hole with the grunts who put them there in the first place. Aeiden would limp up to the hole, then look down at the two silently. He'd listen to their insults and jeers, waiting for a plea for mercy or at least an apology. When none comes, and the dumb remarks don't stop, he'd turn to Arowen and say Simply, “Fill it up.” Arowen would wait for him to clear the area, then use an earthquake to collapse the sides.
Aeiden would listen to their screams, but keep going as they suddenly stop. To himself, he'd think “If they dug the hole once, they can dig themselves out again.”
“Hopefully.” He'd grin.
While walking along the sidewalk in Aurelia, a boy in his early teens bumps into you. He has an air of arrogance and he scowls at you only for a moment before continuing to walk. When you pat down your jacket pockets, you've noticed your wallet missing. What do you do next?
Aeiden would look at the boy with pity. He'd give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that the boy just needed some cash. Aeiden would remember the boy's face as he walks away, intending to give Jay a reference for any future crimes the boy may commit. He shouldn't be ruined just for wanting to eat, should he?
Do you know the applicant IC/OOC?
Yes! He's a really good friend OOCly, and my character's, Donna, adoptive-father-person.
Do you think the applicant will follow the VA rules?
Yes, I know he will! I really doubt he's the type of person to ever break any rules, and he is a GM, so he'd know better anyways.
Does the applicant break character and bring OOC into RP?
No. I've never known him to do that. He doesn't metagame.
Would the applicant willingly put himself into a situation they would might not win?
In my personal opinion, yes he would. He's able to RP well and get out of situations correctly, though I know he's willing OOCly to have things happen.
Is the applicant's RP generally fun for everyone?
I know some people get aggrevated sometimes with his character and how he acts or his choices ICly, but that's just how his character is and he does a good job at RPing it. Other than that, I know I can certainly say I really enjoy RPing with him and sometimes get frustrated with Aeiden, but it's really good RP and in the end I don't really mind because I really like the character.
Are the evils chosen for the character relevant to the character? If not which ones?
I think they all are! They're certainly all things I can see Aeiden doing.
Please provide a screenshot (s) of an RP session with the applicant.
I think this one was the most recent, and most impacting example. vuv (it's too big, so it's just a link, so it doesn't clip off the edge.) http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/ ... 7vu7y7.png
Do you know the applicant IC/OOC?
I do. He's Theo's... friend? ICly and he's also his father in law, as of this Thursday anyway. OOCly we're good friends.
Do you think the applicant will follow the VA rules?
Absolutely! He's followed the rules in the past and is receptive to complaints or concerns too.
Does the applicant break character and bring OOC into RP?
Nope! He does not, at all.
Would the applicant willingly put himself into a situation they would might not win?
He's certainly good at making the best of such situations them but he definitely is ok with not winning. I have seen him willingly put himself in such situations before, and then lose, and can presume he will continue to do so.
Is the applicant's RP generally fun for everyone?
It's certainly good rp. I won't lie, Aeiden often makes me want to beat my head against the wall but that has nothing to do with the applicant and everything to do with me being hypersensitive and having certain real life personal issues Aeiden sometimes comes uncomfortably close to through no fault of anyone's- and besides, there's multiple kinds of fun; adversity is rewarding too to lots of people. All of this in any case is the result of him being rp'd very well and just happening to be a sometimes frustrating character, if anything. I know that practically everyone on the server has rp'd with Aeiden and he's provided interesting, quality rp.
Are the evils chosen for the character relevant to the character? If not which ones?
Yes they are!
