Tell us a little about yourself: Hi! I'm an avid roleplayer, artist, and college student trying to make their way in this mad world of ours.

What is roleplaying?
- Roleplaying is telling a story using two or more 'players', using characters they make and ideas they share to have a wonderful time.
What is meta-gaming?
- Meta-gaming is using out-of-character knowledge in-character and giving the player an advantage over others wrongfully.
What is power-gaming?
- Power gaming is forcing an outcome or side effect on another person without consent or permission.
What is retroactive continuity?
- Retcons are altering an existing timeline or element in a story.
What is a Mary Sue?
- Mary Sues are all-around perfect individuals with no weakness, no flaws, no problems, and most importantly, no story because of it.
What is the difference between in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC)?
- In-character is the term for doing or saying things that your written character would.
- Out-of-character is the term for doing or saying things that are the actual players thoughts and feelings.
Do you have previous experience playing on a RP server? (This won’t affect your acceptance)
- I've roleplayed in many other games, first time for minecraft!

Full name: Balthasar Traverse
Age: 25
Appearance:
Balthasar is on the short side, coming in at only 5'4 and weighing a little more than 110 on a good day. His dark brown hair is cut short and tidy, cut regularly to keep it out of his eyes and ears. He doesn't keep up-to-date on the recent fashion trends, and thus his clothes are rather unkempt and covered in patches of dirt or mud from a recent exploration. His pale skin and deep cerulean eyes are two of his most treasured parts of himself, for eyes are the windows to the soul, right? The only part he really dislikes is his rather clumsy way of tripping through life, literally. The most accident prone-person you'll ever meet.
Personality:
The first things one would notice about Balthasar is his rather analytical mindset. He pours into books and field work with a passion rarely displayed for most other things, and isn't afraid to get down in the mud or freezing conditions for one more scrap of knowledge most others might not know of. However, with this passion comes obsession. He is absolutely obsessed with the throes of a newly discovered place or Pokemon that at times he'll neglect his own health, leaving him an entire day without eating before he notices anything is amiss.
Secondly, he has a free-spirit that runs to the beat of his own drum. Setting off in the direction of an adventure is a recently-discovered dream that he wishes to pursue without strings or prior commitments attached. And he disappears without a trace the next day for something else that catches his eye. But the drawbacks of such a lifestyle is that he doesn't get rather close to others much, rarely letting someone into his personal bubble if he could help it. He remains emotionally distant to keep that free air of mystery around him.
Finally, those that DO manage to pop that bubble can find that he is a rather kind-hearted soul. Those that can keep up with his pace are in for a remarkable change, from this anti-social scientist to a genuine adventuring companion. Dishing out the better rations, keeping his more snarky thoughts to himself, and fighting for the defense of those few others than for an experimental wish.
Biography:
Born inside of Eterna City, flanked by forest, mountains, and underground, there was never a shortage of wonderous things to discover for the kids. But while his sister Myrrh was the outgoing leader of their generation, Balthasar was far more comfortable to study and keep to himself. Exploring the nearby woodlands was a childhood memory he kept fondly to himself to this day.
His parents were worried about this antisocial behavior, so when Myrrh was selected to attend trainer's school, Balthasar was forced to go with her. He studied diligently, irritated by Myrrh's slacking off and goofing around. He managed to graduate and came back to Eterna with a newfound appreciation for the Pokemon the world takes for granted.
Yet he still stayed inside the small town while his peers went onto larger and grander things.
Finally, the young man was faced with a choice: Find a path in life or they will find one for him. He scanned through his books, searching for something to do that would sate his thirst for knowledge, until he came across a book on other regions. He picked the Toro Region and went in a flash.
Flaws: He's rather anti-social, more willing to be around Pokemon and other forms of studies. He can be rather stand-offish and has to force himself at times to be around others.
Ambitions: He one day wishes to become a pokemon professor.
Starter Pixelmon: During his initial travels, he came across a pokemon egg abandoned on the bridge of Route 206. He took it and raised it on his travels to the Toro region, where it hatched into a young Larvitar!

You find yourself standing in a bustling town. Suddenly, a small girl runs up to you, her eyes seeming to glisten with fresh tears as her bottom lip quivers. “Please!” She cries out to you, “You must help me! My poor Meowth is stuck in a tree!” She points to a nearby tree as more tears spill out of her eyes and down her cheeks. How does your character respond?
He did not even notice the little girl until it was too late. He dropped the book he was reading with a startled yelp, knocking it onto the ground. "Who? What? Where?" Balthasar looked around, until looking right down at the crying girl. "O-Oh geez, I'm sorry. Did I startle you?" He kneeled down to the girl's level. "You said a Meowth was in trouble? D-Did you see any police officers that can help? Do you want me to help you look? W-Well find some help together!"
You are walking along the road when your eyes lock onto a trainer's in the distance. At that moment, you both freeze in place. You see a glimmer in the trainer's eyes as he reaches for his Pixelball. "Go, Rattata! Show this chump what we've been training for!" the trainer shouts as he swiftly releases his chosen partner in the vacant space that separates the two of you. How does your character respond?
A momentary pause was all that Balthasar needed to breathe, but it was not enough to keep him from trembling. Wasn't this what the trainer school in Sinnoh trained him and his sister for? He reached for the Pixelball on his belt, steeling himself either for a humiliating defeat or a win. "T-This is just a pratical experiment. N-Nothing more." He stammered to himself, and threw the pixelball into the air between them. "L-Larvitar, lets go!"

When you get online, you can notify a staff with a starter of your choice, with whatever specifications you could want! Custom Size / Nature / Gender / Non-HA Ability ( if you want one of these, you're best with asking around )
I'll also let you know, simce it's easy to miss but! We do level the playing field a little bit and provide Max IVs / near Max IVs for Hidden Powers - though people still need to breed if they want specific stats ( like 0 atk ) and for the rest :3 ! There's a NPC to do that in our Battle Tower!
