You're turned into the station. Perhaps you're flipping channels and hear a new voice. Perhaps your listening to your favorite channel as you always do on a day like this. Maybe you knew this broadcast was going to happen due to your innate premonitions. Perhaps it was foretold to you in some sort of dream? Or maybe some blonde kid with a wierd face stopped you on the street to tell you about this. Boy, was he excited. But however you found out about it, the broadcast happened. The noice left the man's mouth, entered the microphone, travelled over insane waves, into your receiver, and finally landed in your brain through your ears. And this is what you heard:

Hello Everyone. Hello. Heh. Welcome to La— Carmine. Carmine Community Radio. [giggly] I am your host. Your /official/ community radio host. Heh. (this is so exciting…). Before I get into the more pressing matters, let me get into what’s really important: myself! My name is January. Van Pelt. Some people call me Jan… Some people. I was born in Summer. I got into Radio at a young age. And I am from ~Lavender Town~ Oh… such a great name. Lavender… Lav-ender. Lay-vendor. Lay-Vender Town. Vender Town. The Vend. Lay-Vendirty. Lay-Vendirty Town. Uh… anyways. Lavender Town. I am a real homeboy! Go Lavender! Uhm. I moved to Toro recently. For… some reason. I’m not sure. I heard it was weird and charming, and I thought I could spread all of my Lavender Weirdness with you all! Yeah. Uhm, I’d say. Toro… is below my expectations. I thought it would be a bit weirder with the stories I’ve heard. Some… region-wide healing of all ailments. And terrorism! I was looking forward to that! But! But… I think Toro might be an acquired taste. Like… Matcha. Or…… Lavender. Lavender… Chewing Gum. Lavender Chewing Gum. Is that a thing? I hope so. It sounds good. Lav-End-Er… Chew-Ing Gum… Lav… Wait! No. I’m not doing this again. Stay on script, January. Do not mess this up January… Right! Well. There are certain astigmatisms about Lavender Town. Astigmatism? No. That’s not what that is. Stigmas! Stigmae… Stigmas. About people from ~Lavender Town~ but those simply aren’t true. There are no ghosts in Lavender To— Well… there are. But, not the kind you’re thinking of. There are /certain ghosts/… but they’re pixelmon. Pests. Not actual ghosts. Real ghosts don’t exist. Maybe. I hope… not. I hope ghosts aren’t realllll… eh. Well. I don’t know. I kind of do. It’d be nice to know what happens after we die. Do we go to some heaven or hell, or, do we roam the earth… malevolently. Or benevolently. Or whatever. Or do we just… die. Does it all end? Is a void of nothingness, incomprehensible to us now. Something we don’t feel. Like sleep, except infinite. *sigh* Well. *gulp* I’m alive now. And breathing! And using however many breaths I have to broadcast to you, the people of Toro. I… am also a people of Toro. I’m here now. I’m present. I am home. This is as much my home as it is yours, radio listener. Because home is where you are. And I’m here. In Toro. For… time.

Okay. Onto news. The Aurelia department is a rolling out a new line of home decorate. I, personally do not know how to decorate. If anyone out there is an Amateur Interior Decorator, hit me up at the station.

And speaking of the Station. There is a new program. This one! So, as always with a new show, we need more people than me. Currently me and my team of pixelmon are the ones writing and taping the shows, and they’re filling in interning positions. And while they’re all very good boys, girls, and agender sentient rock formations, they unfortunately need to supervised. So I need some human help. If you’re interested in being in my crew or interning for me, come to the station in Carmine! It’s noticeable by it’s large statue, of which I don’t necessarily enjoy, but it’s in honor of someone I’ve never heard of, so I can’t be too critical.

Also! Coren Ross is hosting seasonal Classical Concerts at the resort island off the coast of Toro. This flyer says it’s casual, to bring your friends, enjoy the island, and hang out. But the “hang out” is in quotes. Huh!

Now for the weather. In this upcoming season, things are looking to be sunny! Or not. Weather is finicky. What? Were you expecting something else? Well, I’m not a meteorologist! I don’t study meteors. And I don’t know anyone who does.

Hello Carmine! It’s everybody’s favorite radio host, January Van Pelt, out in the field for the first time. Currently, I’m on a uh… session with my… friend. We are in the Aurelia Graveyard by suggestion of… someone. Someone who listened and cared enough to send in a letter. Thank you anonymous purple listener! So. Um. I guess we’ll just wait it out to see if anything interesting happens. I ordered Italian food, so we’ll just wait out the night by light of the moon.

I should describe the setting for you all. We are in a graveyard. And uh… there’s an incredible crypt beside us. It’s pretty neat… Maybe we should investigate it after dinner. That would make for great radio! What do you think Hadi? Should we investigate the crypt? He said yes! So, coming up, you have that to look forward to. But now, a word from out sponsor.

This time honored festival is held in order to create large amounts of light so that the comet may find it's way back to Earth. This year the festival will be held outside of Cobalt next to the Solrock Clock Tower. It will feature wonderful food from Kanto and Johto as well as numerous cultural stations that allow everyone to learn of these wonderful regions. The famous mask stand will also make an appearance as well as ways to earn special masks. There will be numerous events and on-goings to look forward to during the days of the festival. And now, back to my date! Date? no. Back to my session… with my friend! I’ve made a friend. And this graveyard is pretty cool! Maybe I’ve misjudged you Toro… I think I’m starting to like it here. He’s smiling Carmine… I did it. I think he was a bit scared before but… He’s good now.

Alright. I think it’s time to go in. But— Oh! Before I go in, I should talk about the weather. Because… I can’t talk about it when I’m inside the crypt. So, a reminder. I do not know meteorology. I know a bit of cometology but no meteorology. But. It looks clear…? Gravity feels… normal. Walk about freely, Carmine. It’s dark… Kind of romantic. Feels like a good day for a date. A very good day. That’s about it. Let’s take a quick break as I switch over to my mobile setup and then we’ll catch you in the crypt.

We are… in the crypt now and— OH! Did you hear that listeners? A blood-curdling shriek filled the hollows of the catacombs. How exciting! Oh… there’s um. Water. My equipment shouldn’t be near water but… It’s for the good of Radio! The station will pay if something gets messed up. Thank you station. There is a ledge here. In this water. And Had is lifting me up onto it. Oh… strong… hehehehe… Oh uh. Up on this ledge, there is a hole with what looks to be a ladder. How exciting! I am descending and… it looks good. Hadi, it’s good. Listeners, it’s safe. It’s kind of like a maze! This is so fun. Oh. It looks like it’s a dead end. Let me see. Oh! There was an Evolution stone buried in the ground! Hopefully it wasn’t an offering. Ah ha ha ha. No, but this might come in handy. I think it’s a dusk stone. So… we’re going back up!

We’ve come across a fork while treading water, and my friend is suggesting we go right! Right is always right, as he just said. I think there’s comeback here behind this pile of rocks! We should check it out. Oh, it’s another ladder. We’ve found another maze. A-Maze-Ing. No… I’m sorry. That was… okay. I’m going down.

Okay listeners, we’ve come across a chest! What’s in there, some poor unfortunate soul’s entry artifacts into the realm of the undead?! Oh. It’s seeds. I’ll keep them, they might help help later.

*Yawns* Another dead end… Maybe there will be something good later?

Oh look a skeleton how great! And coffins, and graves! Oh! The dead. The dead. Pay your respects.

I think we’re reaching the end… Yeah… *yawn* Oh! Oh! There’s a door. Behind the door is a ladder, and there’s a button! Hadi is pressing the button and the door opens! So we’re descending the latter.

Oh a dead end.

Another dead. end. This is a big maze.

How far does it go that way? Have you tried the other way? Right is always right. Right?

Oh… there’s something here… oh bones… more bones so many bones. Is this an altar… what happened here?

Coffins. Lots. of. coffins. Some are empty.

Oh this has to be a sacrifice. Is that fire?

This is pretty great! What if we never get out! haha!

Oh… is this it? There’s a final grave. Here lies Princess Plum… I- Hadi I read about this! A princess is Buried here, that’s what my benefactor said! What was that.

Listeners. We made it out… Hadi is gone. He went home. But I realize the signal cut out. So I’ll repeat what happened. A voice, who I thought was princess plum, happened to be my benefactor. At the princess’s grave, she confronted us. She uh, called Hadi my— or /a/ Delicious Pet. He— haha- he thought she was going to eat him. But… she was the one who sent me into the crypt and she said I will “unlock the door to the beyond”. I-I don’t know what that means, but she didn’t tell me who she was, or anything. And I don’t remember much until we got out just moments ago. So… there’s that. I don’t know, Toro. Who is this woman. She’s probably listening now. Who are you? I am nervous. I am excited to see where this takes me. Goodbye Carmine. Goodbye Benefactor. Goodbye Toro.
