Although Tessa had never shown much interest in Pixelmon before, she learned to love Storm the Absol as a partner. When Tessa and her brother had moved to Toro's orphanage she soon became disheartened at the bleak walls that housed them. Time went on, however one day Tessa decided she had enough; sneaking out of the building to go explore the nearby woods. It was a breath of fresh air for Tessa, she was happy to be free from the orphanage for these few minutes. However minutes turned into hours and Tessa soon found herself lost in the unfamiliar woods. Unable to find her way back she stumbled blindly through the once friendly woods, the sun had begun to set and fear began to creep in on Tessa. Worse yet a thunderstorm had settled in, soaking her. Cold and scared she began to cry in fear of being lost forever, until a set of glowing eyes met hers. A lone Absol had discovered her and offered her comfort in the cold night. Calming down, Tessa told the Absol she was lost and soon it was able to lead her back to the orphanage. She was grateful towards her new friend, yet saddened as it left.

Days past and Tessa couldn't get the Absol out of her mind. She was determined to see it once more, yet again sneaking out into the woods in search of it. However another Pixelmon found her first, an angry Ursaring was none too pleased to find a human child on it's territory. It began to attack her, and Tessa ran in fear. Eventually she was cornered and wondered if this was the end for her. As it was about to strike her, a force knocked the Ursaring away. The Absol she had been looking for had returned, standing guard over her. Intimidated, the Ursaraing left to go lick it's wounds leaving Absol and Tessa alone. Tessa was once again grateful towards the Absol for saving her, however it looked back at her angry for returning when it was not safe for her to be alone. Although this was the case; the Absol wasn't able to stay mad at Tessa for long, her sad gaze winning it over.

The two began to grow closer, Tessa often sneaking away to meet it until one day it agreed to be her partner. It was given the name Storm, for the storm that they had first met in.

One day Tessa was due to meet with her brother and some friends in Cobalt, however on the way the railway was required to stop for some technical difficulties. In order to pass the time as she waited, Tessa was eager to catch some more Pokemon. She soon stumbled upon a Larvitar and decided to add it to her team. Jeb proved to put up a difficult fight, however Agate was soon able to defeat it and the Larvitar was caught. Jeb is a tad bit more withdrawn than Tessa's other Pokemon. He is loyal to his trainer, however at times will refuse to listen to commands.

One day while exploring Tessa stumbled upon an oddly coloured Pokemon, she had seen pictures of Gastly before however the blue wisps that enveloped this one were not the colours of a normal Gastly. She had stumbled upon her first shiny, a type of Pokemon she had only seen once or twice and had read about. Eager to catch it, Tessa battled the Gastly with Storm who easily overpowered it and allowed Tessa to catch it. Cheshire was named after a character in one of Tessa's favourite books; about a girl who follows a strange white Buneary and ends up falling down a hole where finds herself in a wondrous new world. Much like the vanishing, grinning Pokemon in her book, Cheshire remains mischievous and often disappears out of sight to play small pranks on Tessa. He may be devious at times, but Tessa will always love him.

Chrome was caught by Tessa one day while she was out exploring the mountainous parts of Toro. Tessa was somewhat uncomfortable in the area, having grown up in cities all her life she was not used to the open space. However despite her discomfort she was curious to see what kind of Pixelmon enhabited the area. That was when she stumbled upon a lone Beldum, a Pokemon she had never seen before. Tessa soon decided to catch the Pokemon, battling it with Storm. It took some time and many PixelBalls, however after some time the Beldum was now her Pokemon. Chrome remains a more analytical type, carefully formulating a plan before acting. He tends to remain calm, enjoying accompanying Tessa when she reads. Chrome remains friendly around Tessa's other Pokemon, however he used to grow somewhat wary in the presence of Agate, whom used to see him as a snack at times. However as both Pixelmon matured, each eventually found a new found respect for each other.

Although not quite the normal type of Pokemon she would catch, Tessa was given Slate as a gift. She wasn't quite sure, however she felt as if Slate's colours were a bit off. Upon further research, she soon found out it was a shiny and couldn't help but grin as she saw a picture of the black scaled Charizard he would turn into. Slate remains a mild mannered Charizard. As a Charmander he wasn't too hot tempered like some of his kind tend to be however he used to display some rebellion at times. As he evolved, Slate's respect towards Tessa began to grow, eventually he would become a loyal partner.

History:

Tessa's little troublemaker, don't be too surprised if any metal you have disappears. Agate has a habit of eating any iron it can find, he's gotten Tessa in trouble once before for eating all the spoons in the orphanage. However this naughty Aron doesn't do it out of spite, he's rather playful around Tessa and often brings her pieces of iron and other minerals it's dug up in the ground as gifts. Tessa caught Agate one day while out one day with Storm, it was weak from hunger due to all of the iron in its cavern home was mined out. Feeling bad for the Aron, Tessa soon offered it the lunch she had brought. However it refused. Tessa was unsure what to do until she noticed it staring hungrily at her bracelet. Although somewhat disappointed to give it up, Tessa gave her bracelet to the Aron without hesitation. After having something to eat, the Aron felt rejuvenated and grateful towards Tessa. Tessa was happy it was feeling better, but knew it wouldn't be able to live in the cave anymore. She invited to Aron to become one of her Pokemon, and to her joy it agreed.

History: Oscar and Tessa Locke were the twin children of Claire Locke, a young mother. The two were a result of a one night stand between her and her boss, this boss was a man known as Oliver Spade. After Claire had finished university, having studied fashion, she got a job at Oliver’s company, Spade Corp. She worked as a secretary for him. One day after the two went out for a drink, they had a one night stand. Claire wanted it to turn into a relationship, but Oliver didn’t at all, he didn’t care for her. He began acting to her like he did to most people, a complete jerk. He eventually even fired her, which caused Claire to hate him. A few months after she was fired, she found out she was pregnant, and knew from who. However she didn’t want to tell him, and it was too late for an abortion. She ended up having the kids, twins. After their birth she moved to Castelia city in Unova, thinking she could hit it big in the fashion world there, but she sadly her dreams proved to be unfruitful.

As a young child, Tessa remained happy with the small things in life. She was able to see the world much differently than others, her eyes being able to pick up more colours than that of the normal spectrum human eyesight falls under. However behind closed doors, in her mind she often harboured negative feelings towards their mother, who often drank away her sorrows rather than dealing with them. She was an alcoholic that struggled with an income and hardly paid attention to the well being of her two children. After awhile Tessa soon learned to be dependent on herself, drawing away from others. Although refusing to let anyone see her true feelings, she allowed herself to be open to one person, her twin brother Oscar. The two remained almost inseparable, sharing a bedroom, going to kindergarten together, and nearly spending every moment of the day with each other. They shared the same daily struggles which only allowed them to become closer. However one day everything changed, a drunken car crash caused by their mother was the last straw. The children had been taken away due to their mother no longer being a fit parent, if she ever was for that matter. Although injured herself Tessa was terrified for her brother who had suffered the worst of the crash, she was worried that the accident had killed him. Tessa didn't know if she could manage being alone, her best friend gone forever. Thankfully her brother had pulled through the surgery, however not without a cost. Oscar's eyesight had been permanently damaged and for once the bright world around Tessa offered no escape in her hectic world. As everything seemed to fall apart around her she no longer took on a bright pallet of clothing and tastes, instead wearing colours of a more dull caliber. She had decided this was the best way to understand how her brother felt, seeing a world of simply blacks and whites.

During Oscar's recovery, a search was done to try and locate someone to take care of the twins. After some time looking through a series of medical documents, a blood father had been found. The father, a man named Oliver Spade, was soon contacted and told about the children. After seeing them for the first time and hearing their story, Oliver quickly grew attached to them. Their past reminded him of his and Oscar reminded him of his little brother, one who had passed away long ago. So after a struggle of going through the court, he soon gained custody of the kids. He tried to be the best father he could for them, not wanting them to turn out like he did. Oliver, surprisingly, was a great father. However, Tessa refused to lower her now reinforced walls, she didn't trust this man let alone considering him a 'father'. As Oscar and Oliver continued to grow close, Tessa found herself retreating to the manor's library. She found a new love for reading, letting her conflicted mind escape in books. Although withdrawn, Oliver refused to give up on his daughter so easily. One day for the twins birthday, Oliver bought each child an instrument. Oscar had been given a Piano and Tessa a Cello. Through trial and error he eventually found his way into Tessa's heart. Teaching her to play allowed Tessa to see a different side of Oliver, she saw that he really did care about her and her brother rather than just throwing them away as their mother did or wanting them to like him for some ulterior motive. For the first time in her life, she allowed herself to grow close to someone other than her brother.

However the happy times were not meant to last.. Oliver had soon found out he had developed a serious case of lung cancer due to his many years of smoking. Knowing that his time was limited, Oliver made preparations for the children to be sent to the Toro region to live with their Aunt, Jade Aruji. However before he could send them off himself he passed away. The people working for Oliver sent the two children on the ship boarded for the Toro region, thinking Jade had already been informed, but she hadn’t. Due to some unforeseen circumstance the letter never reached Jade. So shortly after having arrived in the region, the two children wandered around, never to find the aunt waiting for them that their father had told them about. Eventually the two children ended up in the Orphanage in Aurelia.

Personality: Tessa is a quiet girl who would rather choose staying indoors reading books over going outside and making new friends. She rarely opens up to people, however makes an exception for her twin brother Oscar whom she loves and trusts above all others. Tessa can be a bit rebellious at times, if what she believes is right trumps the opinion of others however she wouldn't do anything that would have negative consequences on the ones she cares about. Tessa prefers dull colours, wearing dark clothing over bright colours. This also reflects her personality, she remains more monotone and closed off rather than energetic and happy-go-lucky.
Strengths: Tessa is mature for her age, she also has a keen intellect being able to read books beyond her age group. She is also quite skilled at playing the Cello, cherishing the one that was given to her by her father. When it comes to her brother she can be a different person, putting her all into what she's doing when it matters.
Weaknesses: Due to having trust issues, she tends to be unsocial. She also suffers from mild depression, drawing away from others and instead reading books in order to escape her problems.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Ambitions: As of now Tessa's main goal is to remain with her brother, she hopes to soon leave the orphanage of Toro and find her aunt or somewhere else to live.
