Emergency Response Towers

Post: # 13467Post Rosy »

Found all around the region of Toro are small towers with a warm light atop. To those foreign to the region, they are certainly a strange site. At first, they appear very similar to a telephone booth, save the telephone is mounted to the right side. Four Pixelballs are firmly attached to the left side, each of which has a simplistic depiction of one of four Pixelmon, with the name of the Pixelmon written underneath in Unovan: Alakazam, Dragonite, Luxray, Vaporeon. A button is below each Pixelball, and a keyhole above them. Finally, there is a panel attached to the front, a short guide written within:
This is a Toro Region Emergency Response Tower.

Using this tower outside of emergency is considered a crime.

To call the RTMP, pick up the phone and wait for a response. Describe the state of your emergency to the answering officer. The act of calling the officer will notify the officer of your location at the time of call.

The Pixelballs on the side are for emergency use only. Using a Pixelball will notify the RTMP. Press button to release.
Evacuation: Alakazam - Teleports nearby people to designated safe location.
Public Defense: Dragonite - Mitigates conflicts until RTMP Officer arrives.
Search and Rescue: Luxray - Clears debris and can locate lost people through walls.
Fire Response: Vaporeon - Suppress fires using most appropriate move.

Do NOT attempt to use Evacuation, Search and Rescue, or Fire Response Pixelmon for combat.
----- OOC Line -----
Hello hello!

Premier Sam's General ((AKA GM-C Lego Overlord)) here with a brief outline of the OOC Mechanics of the Emergency Response Towers!

Right clicking the front sign gives you a link to this page!

Obviously, the phone will only call the RTMP Building in Aurelia. The RTMP will then know which phone called them, so they can go to that location. You can facilitate this by messaging one of the following people! Then give them your coordinates, or they can use the Dynamap to find you!
- Harvey Garrett (( FeatherClone ))
- Kaineth Dreamer (( Salsa80 ))
- Kagami Ishiin (( rialangset ))
- Crystal Ross (( 1cest0rm ))

Each tower has four Pixelmon.
Alakazam - Evacuation.
Luxray - Search and Rescue.
Vaporeon - Fire Response.
Dragonite - Public Defense

While all of them can fight, only the Dragonite is trained in fighting. Therefore, the others are fairly ineffective. When someone sends out any Pixelmon, we will allow the player that sent the Pixelmon out to use them. However, those Pixelmon will act with a certain goal, and having them act differently will be considered power gaming. A DM can be requested if needed. The Alakazam will attempt to teleport everyone at the ERT to a designated nearby location. The Luxray will attempt to clear debris and locate people. The vaporeon will put out fires. The dragonite will attempt to safely detain all participants at the ERT until the RTMP arrive.

Alakazam will know teleport. Right clicking the sign with the Pixelballs will teleport you to the safe zone. Just RP out sending out the Alakazam and having him teleport you! Then right click.

Luxray will know Strength. They can see through one layer of blocks in order to identify anyone who is loss or trapped. They will then attempt to clear any debris or rubble from the area!

The Vaporeon will know Sand Attack, Haze, Muddy Water, and Hydro Pump. This is to address combustible material fires, electrical fires, and chemical fires. Hydro Pump will be used on fires started by combustible material. This is most fires, especially those on wood or plants. Sand Attack will be used on small fires caused by an electrical source. Muddy water will be used for large fires caused by an electrical source. Haze will be used on chemical fires, such as oils or gases.

The Dragonites are probably the most complex mechanic. You are allowed to battle ICly with these dragonites! They are level 100 and have the following moves: Dragon Claw, Extremespeed, Aqua Tail, Fire Punch. They will attempt to end all conflict, and will only attack if someone is attacking, and their first target is Pixelmon. Otherwise, their primary goal is to peacefully hold all participants in a conflict at the ERT until the RTMP arrive to further assess the situation.

If you send out an ERT Pixelmon, please message an RTMP officer and notify him or her which Pixelmon was sent out from where, as the towers would notify them of this. Above all others, the ERT Pixelmon are obedient to the RTMP officers. The Pixelballs are attached to the ERT and an RTMP officer must arrive to return them. Also, remember! The Pixelmon aren't dumb machines, and are smart. If they see you running from the RTMP, they won't help you escape. General rule of thumb: They won't help the bad guys. Call a GM to DM if you think the situation is different!

It will be considered illegal to tamper with these towers or the Pixelmon, or to use these for non-emergency purposes. The Pixelmon will be considered RTMP members, and attacking them will be treated thusly.
